How long would you wait?
You're waiting for a bus at the bus stop to get somewhere. 15 minutes later, the bus has yet to arrive, but you felt that you are not in a hurry and can afford to wait a little longer. 10 more minutes and the wait is still a fruitless one. At this point in time you begin to consider your choices:
1. Since I've already waited for the past 25 minutes, I might as well stay. The other alternative - the MRT - is 15 minutes walk away and not exactly near. A bus may arrive during that time and that would be a pity.
2. I've wasted enough time waiting at this bus stop and I'm not going to waste any more time here. Even if the MRT is a 15 minutes walk away, it sure beats staying on and not knowing when the bus would arrive. At least the MRT is a more reliable form of transport.
Which of the above choices best describes your decision?
