Food for thought.....or thinking of food?

Nothing profound. Nothing philisophical. Just food. Lots and lots of food.

Movie Fest '06

28th March: Nanny Mcphee

1st April: My Girl and I

4th April: Ice Age 2

There was also a "V for Vendetta" which I forgot the exact date I had watched it (by the way, the 1st April show isn't an April Fool's joke).

Ok time for movie reviews.

V for Vendetta: must watch

Nanny McPhee: can watch

My Girl and I: don't watch

Ice Age 2: worth a watch

Have I ever mentioned that I've never gotten a better grade than C5 for my GP (both in secondary school and JC)?

Rather than talking about movies, I'd like to say that company does matter more than the movie itself. For example, My Girl and I is a typical Korean romance flick where a young couple who were deeply in love became separated eventually because the girl HAD to die.

Everyone knows this type of plot, but still enjoy watching it, especially when you're going with your other half, booked for yourselves the special seats and spend the screen time snuggling so closely together that you effectively take up only 1 seat's space when you've actually purchased 2.

Or when you're watching Ice Age 2 and the friends whom you watch with have exceptionally loud laughter (no offense taken), and add onto the hilarity in the atmosphere.

Before you get any funny ideas, I wasn't the one doing the snuggling thing. I witnessed someone else doing it.

Word of advice for movie-goers: choose your kakis more carefully than choosing your shows to watch.

Enjoying movies and writing blogs does not require an A1 for GP. Furthermore, your command of English language exceeds your grade which is very evident from your blog writing.

V for Vendetta was really a great movie..

Sorry that i did not join in "the friends whom you watch with have exceptionally loud laughter"
