The Curse of the Golden Flower
I haven't watched the movie yet, but its trailer mentioned that it was a story of a royal family conflict, to put it mildly.
How true. Families will always have conflicts. Some conflicts can occur even before families are formed.
When Qiuping heard about the show, she said that she wanted to watch it (with me), because she's a fan of Jay Chow. When my mum heard about the show, she said that she wanted to watch it (with me as well), because she's a fan of Chow Yun Fatt. So I thought to myself,
"If the 3 of us watch it together, Qiuping will watch Jay, my mum will watch Chow Yun Fatt, and I'll watch Gong Li. We'll each have 1 and life will be perfect."
But then, life is never perfect. Qiuping only wants to watch the movie with me, or she'll let me and my mum watch it together. If my mum knows that I have to choose between the 2 of them, she'll give up the seat to Qiuping. What is this? I have to choose a heart to break? How do I make a fair decision?
Hmmm.....any guys out there who wants to watch the movie together? I'm very much available. Or maybe I shouldn't watch it, the movie's probably cursed.

tat show is for ppl with lotsa time & $ then watch one lah. not very the nice. By the end of the show, you will have ???s. Jay Chow looks better when he is in armour... His tied up hair look, is very erm... special.
Chow Yun Fatt good actor... Crazy looking enough. Gong Li looking great for her age in the show. The outfit for the females is very fashionable... (since olden time, fashion is more for gals wearing pleasure & guys viewing pleasure)

Watched the movie, with mum only. So many last minute changes...
Hey froggy, never too late to drop a line. I do have a lot of time, but I wish I could say the same for $$$.
What I like most in the show is the setting. I think the rainbow coloured palace interior is rather fascinating. And China has beautiful countrysides too.
I agree with the ancient fashion part too, hee hee hee.
