Food for thought.....or thinking of food?

Nothing profound. Nothing philisophical. Just food. Lots and lots of food.

It's not over yet

Yesterday I had my staples removed.

That really hurt. Especially in those spots where my muscles move much more than others because of its location at my knee joint. It felt as bad as putting those staples in. The nurse who removed them felt rather sorry for me.

It seems as though I'm torturing you...

When she finally removed the last staple, the nurse told me that she'll be covering my wound with a waterproof bandage, which I can remove 5 days later. The only good news I heard that entire day.

After she was done patching up my wound, I realised with horror that some regions of my wound - mostly dried scabs - are in contact with the adhesive portion of the bandages. That means if I remove the bandage, I'll also remove the dried blood which protects my wound. Just when I thought the pain would be over...

Anyway, now I have this long ugly scar, or rather 2 long ugly scars, which makes everyone stare, just that they can't see the one at the back of my knee. Wonder how will it look like eventually.

Anonymous Anonymous started blabbering nonsensically:

yo kid. We are behind you all the way, so try to bear with the pain. You know there's nothing we won't do for you.
