It's the company that matters
Today, I had...
- Less than 6 hours of sleep
- Been walking around town in my graduation ceremony attire for the whole day under the hot sun
- Gone to Esplanade for the same purpose for the third time in three weeks
- Coughed so badly that my throat turned sore
- Walked around in my leather shoes so much that the soles of my feet hurt
But...
- I was taking graduation photos with my cousin who graduated (at the same time as me) with a degree in Medicine
- My cousin treated me to lunch (at Munchie Monkey)
- Most who saw us in our attire said "Congratulations!" to us
Although I was hugry, tired, and felt half-dead when I reached home, somehow I was pretty much light-hearted, especially after looking at the photos I took today (check out the snap of the day, 27/07/2005).
It doesn't matter how many times I had to go to the Esplanade wearing shirt, pants, necktie, and the graduation robe, standing under the hot sun and posing for shots.
Now I truly understand the meaning of the phrase.
