Food for thought.....or thinking of food?

Nothing profound. Nothing philisophical. Just food. Lots and lots of food.

Urban commandos

A new term that I coined only this morning. I'm not talking about soldiers who are expertly trained in FIBUA (Fighting in Built-up Areas) tactics, I'm refering to a people who can survive in any type of environment, here comes the catch, as long as they have a working computer with internet access.

And I really mean any type of environment. Be it, noise-filled (someone drilling away next door), overwhelmed with pungent odours (in a freshly painted room), extremely dusty (due to some construction going on nearby), total darkness (just switch off the office lights) -you name it, they can stay withstand it (for days in fact).

Urban commandos can be found in the labs all over NUS (and many other places too, but I've only seen those in NUS). But whether whatever they're doing is a service to the nation or not remains to be seen.

Level of response: 1

Blogger HCl started blabbering nonsensically:

*salute* to these urban commandoes.. weekends in biosignal lab is indeed this kinda condition.. no air-con so we open the doors.. but outside was construction with drilling and painting.. the smell, the dustiness, the noise and the heat.. argh!! hang in there!! these days will be over soon...
