Wasted an entire afternoon on paperwork. Not typing out reports but printing out my thesis. Can't believe I wasted 2 weekend afternoons printing out my thesis.....
But when you fail to relate what you're doing to any of the 4 function, work will then be referred to affectionately as "shit" - something you have no choice but to do.
Spending 2 weekend afternoons printing out my thesis is SHIT (my apologies for being vulgar, but can't help it).

Meaning of work
Work has 4 functions:- economic function
- important social function
- a source of social status and prestige
- important psychological function
But when you fail to relate what you're doing to any of the 4 function, work will then be referred to affectionately as "shit" - something you have no choice but to do.

People who have edited the thesis for the 4th time are indeed doing SHIT.
