Blogging in the (Shanghai branch) office
Unlike in my company back in Singapore where access to blogs has been banned, over here, access to blog in the whole country has been banned. Fortunately for me, I can gain access to the internet via Singapore server (for work purposes), and that allows me to access blogs during office hours.
One week has past since my arrival. I have no problems adapting, just that I already hate travelling out on weekends, due to the crowds. Yes, I have been to Paris, which is just about as crowded, but the people there don't shove you and they have designated smoking areas. You'll be surprised how much that difference that makes.
Still, it's good to be exposed to different styles of living and culture, because that's what makes you appreciate what you already have better.

how come china ban blog? -myn
Because the country doesn't allow freedom of expression.
Hey kid. That's a communist country for you. At least we live in a place where we can more or less get away with critising our government. The country where I'm currently based is a real shithole but I'll not go into details.
