Food for thought.....or thinking of food?

Nothing profound. Nothing philisophical. Just food. Lots and lots of food.

Another law lesson?

Engineers can never escape from laws. There're countless laws of physics which they have to follow, the numerous Statutes passed by the Parliament which must be adhered to, and now there's also this law called Murphy's law.

"Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong."

I put this quote up in 1 of my previous entries. However, Tengkia was not the 1st to make such a statement. It takes a research engineer (or someone along that line) to truly understand the meaning of such a statement.

Or someone who's truly down on his or her luck.

In Singapore, it it common practice to hang wet laundry out to dry in the sun. And to bring it back in when it rains.

90% of the time, the sky turns dark and threatens to rain when my mom hangs her laundry out, and suddenly brightens up the moment she brings them into the house. More often than not, such scenarios can repeat themselves several times a day. I didn't know my mom is such an avid follower of Murphy's law.

Today is another of those days.....
